The Taiwan Forum on Democratic Defense & Economic Security (TDEP) is a professional public-discussion platform that brings together academic research, policy analysis, political observation and international affairs — providing credible, timely and readable perspectives for decision-makers, the media and the public.
We publish in Traditional Chinese. Articles are reviewed by an editorial board of scholars and experts before publication. An English edition of selected articles is under consideration.

Submissions are reviewed under a rotating three-reviewer system: each manuscript is assigned to three board members in turn, and approval by at least two is required for publication. The board currently includes:

We welcome contributions from scholars, experts and public commentators in three formats: Brief (timely commentary, ≤ 1,500 characters), Feature (original analysis, 1,500–5,000 characters) and Repost (previously published work, by invitation or with consent). Anonymous submissions are not accepted.
